Why become a member?

The Herrett Center for Arts & Science is a non-profit musuem, planetarium, and observatory located on the College of Southern Idaho campus. Our purpose is primarily educations, offering programs to elementary and secondary school students, CSI students, and the adult community of South-Central Idaho. The Center collects, preserves, interprets, and exhibits anthropological artifacts and natural history specimens with an emphasis on the prehistoric Americas.

A membership to the Herrett Center for Arts & Science is designed to give you an enhanced experience each time you visit. Members recieve exlusive invitations to exhibits and lectures, free entry to planetarium shows, gift shop discounts, an e-newsletter subscription, special rates on rentals, and more! Your membership to the Herrett Center helps us keep Art & Science free to our community.

Levels of membership

Individual Membership

$50.00 Annually

Individual Members get access to benefits that include:

1 Membership card
6 Free planetarium shows
1 Free admission to Telescope Tuesday
Invitation to new exhibit openings and lectures
10% discount on workshops, camps, and special events
10% discount on purchases in the Herrett Center Gift Shop

Ask at the front desk about a discounted Individual Membership if you're a senior or CSI student.

Family Membership

$150.00 Annually

Family memberships get access to benefits that include:

2 Membership cards
6 Free planetarium tickets per member card
1 Free admission to Telescope Tuesday per member card
Invitation to new exhibit openings and lectures
10% discount on workshops, camps, and special events
10% discount on purchases made in the Herrett Center Gift Shop

Family membership benefits can be applied to up to four children when accompanied by a member.

Advocate Membership

$250.00 Annually

Advocate members gain access to the following benefits:

2 Membership cards
6 Free planetarium shows per member card
1 Free entry into Telescope Tuesday per member card
Invitation to new exhibit openings and lectures
10% Discount on workshops, camps, and special events
10% Discount on purchases in the Herrett Center Gift Shop
