The Herrett Center is a non-profit support service of the College of Southern Idaho. Its purpose is primarily educational, offering programs to elementary and secondary school students, CSI students, and the adult community of south-central Idaho. The Center collects, preserves, interprets, and exhibits artifacts and natural history specimens with an emphasis on the prehistoric American continent.
The Herrett Center for Arts & Science depends upon the generosity of individuals, businesses, and foundations to bring History, Science, and Art to life in our non-profit organization.
Your donation enables us to continue providing free admission to the galleries while giving us the opportunity to expand educational and community building events that are a cornerstone of our community.
A membership to the Herrett Center for Arts & Science is designed to give you an enhanced experience each time you visit. Members enjoy extra benefits, such as access to our quarterly newsletter, gift shop discounts, and free planetarium shows. Members are vital to the museum and help up continue to grow in our impact on the Magic Valley, from free gallery admission to expanded observatory viewing opportunities, and more!
The Herrett Center welcomes the donation of objects that complement and fulfill current collections. Each item offered for donation is considered by the Museum Director and the Collections Coordinator to ensure that the collection remains consistent with the museum mission, is relevant, and is able to be properly cared for.
